After completing the 2012 home slate on Sunday, the Georgia Southern Baseball team hits the road for the final four games starting with the final non-conference game Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Eagles will complete the regular season at Wofford this weekend but up first is A-Sun foe Kennesaw State.

ATHENS - The University of Georgia has been selected as one of 16 regional host sites for the 2012 NCAA Division I Softball Championships, the NCAA announced Sunday night.    

BOONE, N.C. — Georgia Southern Softball defeated College of Charleston 6-2 to win the 2012 Southern Conference Softball Tournament. The league title is the third for the Eagles in program history and first since 2006. The Eagles advance to the NCAA Tournament and will learn their destination on Sunday night at 10 p.m. on ESPNU.
